The 2024 Youth Study will continue the new edition of the Youth Study from 2022 also in the school year 2024. With a continued Youth Study in Baden-Württemberg we can obtain information on the current living environment of young people on selected topics and trace developments across the cohorts. The Youth Study in Baden-Württemberg builds on the previous studies, develops them innovatively and serves as a model for other youth studies in Germany. The innovative character results from the combination of standardised survey techniques with elements from experimental research (for example in the form of vignettes whose content is systematically varied). The study is relevant both for the (interested) public and for science. The results also serve the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports as a basis for decision-making on youth education measures.
